STUDENT
MANUAL THE LIBRARY
EXPERIENCE: SHARING THE RESPONSIBILITY makes the student
a more efficient information problem solver by teaching a
variety of information and library skills as they relate to
both their work in the classroom as well as in the library.
Early in the book the student is presented with a
problem--one that requires information for its solution.
With every new lesson the student will learn a strategy for
solving the problem. By the end of the book the student will
have practiced several different strategies, all of them
steps in the information and library skills
process. The Library
Experience challenges the students by the information
problems they must solve, and most importantly, they will
learn the information and library skills that will make them
successful students and lifelong learners.
